UK Carbon Capture and Storage Community Network
About usThe UK Carbon Capture and Storage Community Network (UKCCSC) is a collective of engineering, technological, natural, environmental, social and economic academics. The Network is a way to rapidly expand a UK research capacity in the area of carbon capture and storage (CCS), commensurate with the large potential contributions to national energy targets. UKCCSC Network is funded by RCUK. UKCCSC has a number of functions and is intended to act as a 'one stop shop' providing advice to policy-makers, regulators and other stakeholders. It also supports UK researchers in existing international activities and encourages new collaborations, within the UK and/or with international partners, where appropriate. It contributes to sustaining a dynamic and stimulating R&D landscape that is accessible to any member of the UK academic community interested in contributing to research and innovation in CCS, including both early career researchers and established academics.
Our Objectives
